This workshop is the second in a series of beginning metals workshops designed to spark the creativity of beginning and intermediate jewelry students. It will cover fabrication techniques that are fast and effective and use simple tools. No soldering necessary. Students will learn how to make hammer rivets, tension rivets, tabs and folds. The techniques you learn can be used for setting stones, making bails, and adding dimension to your jewelry. FSG will supply copper and brass wire and sheet. Bring your own beads, cabochons, found objects, sterling sheet, and sterling wire. Bring any jewelry making tools you have, such as metal cutting shears, pliers, jeweler’s saw and blades, and hammers or use the studio tools. Bring your lunch.

Please email Suzi with any questions.

Please refer to the Classes page for registration details.
